Madinaty Sports Club hosted the third edition of the “Qadya” championship for mixed martial arts, with the participation of 24 players, including 16 Egyptians and 8 foreign players.
Egyptian champion Ahmed Al-Sisi won the lightweight category title after defeating Iraqi Riyad Hamza. Meanwhile, Mohamed Salem, the Egyptian champion, kept his title in the middleweight category by knocking out Indian champion Rahoul Raju.
Al-Sisi expressed his happiness with winning the championship, saying: “I am very happy to win the title, and it was important for me to win this championship, which is held in Egypt.”
He added: “I would like to thank all those responsible for organizing this championship and for it to come out in the ideal way, especially Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) and Fanarah Sports Marketing Company.”
The Qadya championship was a great success, with the players and experts praising the exceptional organization. TMG‘s efforts in providing all the facilities and equipment at Madinaty Club to organize the championship in the best possible way were also commended.
