Egypt’s Ambassador to Moscow Nazih El Nagari met on Tuesday with Mikhail Bogdanov, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and President Putin’s Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa.
The meeting dealt with the ongoing preparations for the Russia-Africa Summit, which will be held in St. Petersburg on 27-28 July.
Bogdanov welcomed Egyptian efforts in this regard, especially the results of the Cairo summit of Sudan’s neighbouring countries on 13July, in the hope of restoring peace and stability in Sudan.
The meeting also touched on other regional issues, including the developments in Palestine and Libya, within the framework of the existing coordination between the two countries on various regional issues.
