Mark Zuckerberg has announced new updates to the Threads app, including follow-up feeds and translations.
“Since the launch of Threads, the Instagram team has been listening to community feedback and working as fast as possible to continuously introduce new features to improve users’ experience,” he said.
Here are more details:
• Following/For You Feed: Your Threads feed allows you to browse posts from other profiles, now with two options:
For You is a view of your Threads feed that includes a mix of posts from the profiles you choose to follow and recommended accounts.
Following will only display posts from people you follow in chronological order.
Translations:
– Threads posts in the feed are automatically translated based on the language they are written in and the language settings of the person viewing them.
– If you see Tharead in a different language, and your language is available as a translation, you can click on the translation at the bottom right of the post or reply to see it.
Additional features in this update include: new categories for sorting your Activity Feed so you can filter by Follows, Quotes, and Reposts, a Follow button in your followers list to easily re-follow other accounts, the ability to see posts you’ve liked in your settings, and a Private Accounts option for Accept all follow-up requests at once.
