Genesis Middle East & Africa announced on Sunday that production of the enhanced version of the G70 has started in the Middle East. In a press statement the company revealed that the new G70 will be available in showrooms soon.
The enhanced G70 features a number of upgrades, including:
- A 2.0 turbo engine and high-performance Brembo brakes as standard
- Luxury interior and exterior design with more details
- Customer convenience specifications standardized
- New specifications added to enhance driving and braking performance and convenience
The statement indicates that the G70 will be available in two lineups: a 2.0 turbo and a 3.3 turbo, and the G70 Shooting Brake as a 2.0 turbo.
The 2.0 turbo engine provides an agile and dynamic driving experience, while the driving systems such as ‘Sport + (Sport Plus) mode’, a driving mode specialized for limit driving, further enhance the driving pleasure.
The interior design of the G70 inherits Genesis’ unique design identity of “athletic elegance” while enhancing the driver-centric interior design. The exterior design features a new Genesis emblem decorated with a Guilloché pattern, creating the image of a luxury sedan.
Genesis has also standardized ventilated front seats for the 3.3T model and upgraded USB charging port to Type C for market compatibility which are convenience features that are highly preferred by customers.
The enhanced G70 is sure to be a popular choice for luxury sports sedan buyers in the Middle East.
Genesis will be a stand-alone global luxury brand that operates alongside Hyundai‘s popular mass-market brand. Currently, it is available in several countries across the region, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Jordan, and Lebanon. To date, the company did not announce plans to offer the brand in Egypt.
