A festival celebrating the rich culture of Latin America and the Caribbean will take place in Moscow from July 20 to 28. The event aims to foster cultural exchange between Russia and the region.

Moscow’s Hermitage Garden will be the heart of the festival on July 20 and 21, transforming into a vibrant showcase of Latin American life. Visitors can immerse themselves in the region’s diverse culture through music, dance, food, and crafts.

A grand opening ceremony, attended by Moscow government officials and Latin American ambassadors, will kick off the festival on July 20 at the Hermitage Garden’s Main Stage. The event will feature performances by folk music and singing groups.

Beyond music and dance, the festival offers opportunities to explore Latin American crafts and arts. Workshops will allow attendees to create traditional items like pinatas, dreamcatchers, and Cuban beads. Fashion shows will highlight the region’s unique style, with designers showcasing their work.

Film screenings featuring works from 11 Latin American countries will be held as part of the festival. For those seeking a deeper understanding of the region, the Library of Foreign Literature will host lectures by ambassadors, experts, and cultural figures. Topics will range from history and culture to tourism and exploration.
