Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met on Monday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Sherif El-Sherbiny to assess the progress of national housing projects.

Presidential spokesperson Mohamed El-Shenawy stated that the meeting focused on housing initiatives for Egyptians abroad as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen their ties to the homeland. The president reviewed developments in the “Your Home in Egypt” and “Homeland Home” initiatives, which provide housing units and land in prime locations across governorates and new cities.

Al-Sisi instructed officials to expedite construction on these initiatives and emphasized the broader goal of ensuring adequate housing for all Egyptians. He called for an immediate launch of a comprehensive offering of approximately 400,000 housing units, catering to limited- and middle-income citizens as well as higher-end buyers.

The president also commended several new housing projects spearheaded by the Ministry of Housing, including “Housing for All Egyptians,” “Our Homes,” and “Zilal.” Additionally, he reviewed development projects in the Northwest Coast region, stressing the importance of maintaining close coordination with construction firms to accelerate progress and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Al-Sisi highlighted the need for continuous oversight of housing projects to maximize the benefits of Egypt’s modern infrastructure. He urged regular follow-ups on the implementation timeline and the procedures for upcoming housing unit offerings, reinforcing the government’s commitment to advancing the real estate sector and supporting national development goals.
