CAIRO:Amr Zaki thanked the national team substitutes for supporting their teammates despite not being given much playing time in the Pharaohs’ Nations Cup triumph.
“Their spirit was absolutely great throughout the tournament, the striker told Modern TV after the match.
“We were all representing Egypt, bringing it glory was our main target.
The Zamalek striker, who scored four goals in the tournament, expressed his delight at being in Africa’s all-star team.
“It is an honor to be named in Africa’s best team. I’m also very happy to have contributed to this historic achievement, he added.
