CAIRO: Ismaili signed a new contract with young striker Islam Magdy, ending a long conflict.

Magdy was one of six youth players, who left Ismaili last year for Emirate side Raas Al-Khaima.

Zamalek have earlier revealed that the 18-year-old signed an initial contract with the club, before Ismaili tied him up with a new deal.

Magdy signed a new four-year contract worth LE 150,000 with Ismaili, board member Waleed Al-Kilani told FilGoal.com.

He returned the LE 400,000 installments he received from Zamalek to the Cairo club, Al-Kilani added.

Magdy, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, was called up for the Egyptian under-21 team on several occasions.
