Orascom Housing Communities (OHC) announced Monday plans to launch the new phase of Haram City, the company’s flagship low-income housing project located in Sixth of October.
The new phase will include over 4,500 additional housing units, with new designs featuring modern architecture and finishes, according to a company statement.
The new units will go on sale after Eid (by mid-September) but a limited number of units are already available.
Omar Elhitamy, managing director of OHC, said, “This phase…is a reflection of the immense demand for units that’s been expressed by the Egyptian public.”
Haram City will host weekly site tours on Fridays and Saturdays, allowing potential buyers to tour the development and see mockups of the new units.
Launch in mid-2007, Haram City is already home to a growing community of 25,000 residents.
