TOKYO: Qatar has raised its August retroactive official selling price (OSP) for Qatar Marine crude to $72.90 a barrel, up $1.65 from July, Qatar News Agency said on Monday.

The August price was set at a discount of $1.19 to the average price for the month of benchmark Dubai crude, narrower than a discount of $1.24 for July and June.

The Gulf Arab state also set the August Qatar Land crude OSP at $73.95, up $1.60 from July, the agency said. That represents a 14 cents discount to Dubai crude, unchanged from July.

Qatar is one of OPEC’s smallest members, pumping around 800,000 barrels per day.
