Egypt 182-day T-bill avg yield rises to 9.976 pct

The average yield on Egyptian 182-day Treasury bills rose a fraction to 9.976 percent at an auction on Sunday versus 9.804 percent at last week’s auction, the Central Bank said.

The central bank accepted bids worth LE 2.5 billion ($433 million), the same amount that it was seeking.

It accepted bids at rates between 9.8 and 10.021 percent versus 9.501-9.939 percent at the previous auction. The bills are for issue on Nov 2 and mature on May 3, 2011.
