In stark contrast to the weeks before 30 June, the streets in front of the Ministry of Culture are empty. There are only a few chairs on the sidewalk of the still-lingering cafeteria, and one or two people who come and go, hoping to catch sight of a celebrity or two. The stage is gone and the partying is over.

The sit-in continues, but it is inside the ministry, and behind the gate stands a valiant guard, who quickly sends you away. You need someone to vouch for you in order to enter if you want to talk to those who are protesting. While the artists joined the marches on 30 June, they have now chosen to continue their sit-in behind closed doors. Well, gates.
