AFP- Syria’s Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said Russia will not abandon the Damascus regime, in remarks the came as the United States and its allies mulled military action against it.
“I can assure you that Russia has not abandoned Syria. Our relations continue in all fields, and we thank Russia for its support, not only in defence of Syria, but also its own defence,” Muallem told a news conference in Damascus.
