Ta2heel is set to sign a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Health as a prelude to utilise the company’s applications to rehabilitate children with special needs, company CEO Tarek El-Fakharany said.

The agreement with the ministry will allow the company to expand its services to foreign markets with its support. It plans to expand to a few countries in the Gulf market, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Ta2heel is an Arabic speaking, E-learning solution with video modelling, dedicated for children with autism and other special needs. It provides training for children on social interaction, self-reliance, facial expressions, and desirable actions, and teaches them the importance of eye contact and the names of objects, colours, vegetables, fruits, and animals.

The company plans to launch 100 new educational videos by the end of 2015, bringing the number to a total of 200 videos. It also aims to increase its number of users to 200 children.

Ta2heel offers its training through videos that show specific behavioural situations that direct children towards good deeds. Children can sign up and create their accounts to watch the videos and answer questions.

El-Fakharany said experts follow up on each child’s development and evaluate them according to their answers. He believes the service is new to the Egyptian market, noting that he had trouble convincing parents and doctors to subscribe to it.
