On Monday, Ezz Steel organised an event to honour the Egyptian female squash champion, Nour El-Sherbiny, after winning the Women’s World Championship 2016, celebrated in Malaysia.
Thanks to this victory, El-Sherbiny became ranked first internationally as the best female squash champion.
The event was attended by several significant figures in the world of squash, including the head of the Egyptian Squash Association, Assem Khalifa; vice president at the World Squash Federation, Mohamed El-Menshawy; and the following Egyptian and international squash female champions: Omneya Abdel Kawy, Raneem El-Welily, Nour El-Tayb and Hania El-Hammamy.
Ezz Steel, the leading steel producer in the Middle East, with a growing presence in markets around the world, is the official sponsor for El-Sherbiny. Investors Relations Manager at Ezz Steel, Kamel Galal, told Daily News Egypt that they are looking forward to sponsoring more Egyptian champions in other sports.
