The Malaysian brand Proton sold 158 cars in the first six months of the year, with no sales in May and June, achieving sales estimated at EGP 25.2m. The most sold unit was Gen-2 with 107 cars worth EGP 17m, followed by Persona with 51 cars sold worth EGP 8.1m.
