In a news brief titled “Cement prices drop, which ran on Oct. 23, 2008, Daily News Egypt erroneously reported that Italcementi Group said it would reduce its ex-factory cement prices by 21.1 percent, reaching LE 400 per ton compared to LE 455 per ton a week ago. However, the company said it has not released any official statement regarding cement prices.
Daily News Egypt regrets the error.
