The Ministry of Military Production is considering the establishment of a permanent exhibition of products of its subsidiaries in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, according to Minister of Military Production Mohamed Al-Assar.

Al-Assar had recently met with Saleh Abdul Rahman, chairperson of the Sudanese Sudabu Trading and Investment.

According to Al-Assar, the two sides discussed during the meeting aspects of joint trade and encouraging investment exchange volume between the two countries through the activation of a partnership with Sudabu, especially in light of the Sudanese public interest in Egyptian products manufactured by subsidiaries of the Ministry of Military Production.

These products include hardware, electrical equipment, household items, and liquid petroleum products cylinders, as well as agricultural machinery and irrigation equipments that contribute greatly to the implementation of Sudan’s plan of agricultural expansion.

Al-Assar said that he agreed with the Sudanese delegation in the meeting to have Sudabu prepare a market study for the Sudanese market’s needs of the ministry’s products within 15 days, in preparation for the establishment of a permanent exhibition of products in Khartoum. In addition, the exhibition will also provide after-sales services to increase potential trade exchange.

He pointed out that the ministry is aiming to open foreign markets for its products and explore new horizons to support and encourage the Egyptian products and export, which would reflect on the national economy and secure an inflow of hard cash.
