EAB attracts EGP 55m deposits in Financial Inclusion Week

The Egyptian Agricultural Bank (EAB) has succeeded in attracting new deposits of EGP 55m and signed 7,500 new clients during the Financial Inclusion Week, which kicked off on 27 April and ended on Thursday 4 May, according to El-Sayed El-Kosayer, chairperson of the bank.

El-Kosayer said that the new accounts include savings and current accounts, next to saving certificates, and micro and small enterprises. He noted that the bank made use of its presence across the republic for this purpose.

He added that the Gharbeya governorate ranked first among the departments of the bank, recording 40% of the achieved figures, followed by the Qaliubiya governorate and Giza.
