CAIRO: International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Mohammad El Baradei left Cairo Friday for the Austrian capital Vienna after a several days visit to Egypt.

President Hosni Mubarak held a ceremony to honor El Baradei, who won the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize.

El-Baradei is the fourth Egyptian to win a Nobel Prize, after late President Anwar Sadat, writer Naguib Mahfouz and physicist Ahmed Zeweil.

The American University in Cairo (AUC) granted El Baradei the honorary doctorate.

Baradei told a graduation ceremony at AUC that Egypt is full of chances for bringing your dreams into reality, and that Egypt is badly in need of you as Egypt ranked 119 out of 177 of developing countries according to the report of United Nations human resources development despite the fact the Egypt is potentially speaking much more than that as Egypt s scientists could place it at its due place, stressing the freedom of expression, liberation from fears and freedom of the press to reach this end.
