In cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) organised a round table to discuss the digital transformation of banks.
“Digital transformation affects all our daily activities, from social media to daily financial and banking transactions,” according to Abdel Aziz Nossier, executive director of the EBI.
He added that banks have begun to adopt digital technology through the modernisation of various applications to serve customers. He pointed out that the EBI is always seeking to meet the needs of banks and their requirements to keep up with the changes being witnessed in all sectors.
The round table was attended by a number of banking officials and leaders and the IFC. They discussed the importance of digital transformation, the need for banks to turn to digital technology, and what banks need to implement this transformation.
