The 6th Egypt Automotive annual summit will kick off on 10 December at the Nile Ritz Carlton Hotel in Cairo, with the participation and sponsorship of the Ministers of Trade and Industry, Finance, Military Production, and Public Enterprise Sector.
Egypt Automotive returns this year under the title “Development of Industry and Government Vision 2030,” with the participation of leaders of the automotive industry and the business community, and the heads of Egyptian and international companies interested in the Egyptian market, as well as several ambassadors and experts in the automotive market.
Mohamed Aboul Fotouh, CEO of Egypt Automotive, said the summit is gaining momentum with the government’s interest in preparing a new path to localise the automotive and feeder industries, and keep pace with the latest global developments in the electric car industry.
He added that the market is looking forward to uncovering the government’s orientations to promote local manufacturing and increase exports in production requirements in accordance with clear incentive policies that can provide real development in the future of the automotive industry.
The conference will discuss ways to deepen local industrialisation and the demands of the private sector from the government and various authorities to implement a model of partnership and cooperation in creating a qualitative leap within the market.
The conference will deal with the issues of consumer protection and the new traffic law and the development of technical education to create a new system for the development of the car market in Egypt.
