Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigartion and Expatriate Affairs, contacted Egypt’s ambassador to Kuwait, Tarek El Kouny, to closely identify the medical condition of Youssef Nassar, who suffers from several aging-associated diseases including Alzheimer.
Nasser is receiving medical treatment at a Kuwaiti hospital in Farwaniya governorate, a Tuesday statement from the ministry reported.
Makram also contacted Faisal Al Sabah, Farwaniya’s governor who said that the Kuwaiti authorities don’t have enough information about Nasser, calling on Nasser’s family to get in touch with the governorate.
Makram thanked Al-Sabah for taking care of Nasser and providing him with all the necessary medical supervision, the statement concluded.
