Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has said strategic development plan west of New Alamein city should be activated, in forms of hotel and tourism projects.
He added that this effort needs activation in the coming period by offering available plots of land, and agreeing on clear criteria for pricing, and payment methods.
Subsequently, he assigned the Tourism and Antiquities, and Housing Ministries to coordinate a plan for offering tourist lands west of New Alamein city, and presenting it to tourism investors and companies, provided that each company completes construction and operation within the lowest possible period of time from the date of obtaining the necessary approvals, and permits.
His remarks came during his meeting with Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem Al-Gazzar, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled Al-Anany, Director of the National Centre for Planning State Land Use Nasser Fawzy, and CEO of the General Authority for Free Zones and Investment Mohamed Abdel Wahab.
The meeting was meant to discuss hotel investment opportunities west of the New Alamein city.
