The total electronic payment Point of Sales (PoS) available for electricity bills payment have recorded 200,000.
Out of which, 120,000 are Fawry PoS, the remaining 60,000 belong to other e-payment services including Masary, Aman, Bee, and several others.
Users can also pay bills through 10,000 ATMs, in addition to the ability to pay through 12 bank mobile wallets. These banks include; Banque Misr, AlexBank, CIB, Blom Bank, Credit Agricole, Audi, HDB, Suez Canal Bank, and NBK.
Also, bills can be paid through the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company website, allows payment of bills through its website or mobile applications of North Cairo Electricity Distribution Company, and CC Energy Development (CCED).
Concerning the charging of electricity meters, it can also be done through Fawry outlets, and more than 1,000 charging centres.
These measures come within the state’s to boost e-payments and limit cash as a preventive measure against the spread of the coronavirus.
