Saudi Arabia has reported 493 new cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the country’s total number of infections to 5,869, the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday.
The total number of recoveries in the kingdom total 931, following the recovery of 42 new cases on Wednesday. The ministry also confirmed 6 deaths, bringing the total number of deaths in the kingdom to 79.
The UAE’s Ministry of Health announced 432 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, with 101 new recoveries. The latest recovery figures bring the country’s total to 101.
Qatar’s Ministry of Health announced 283 new confirmed infections, bringing the total to 3,711 cases. A total of 33 cases have recovered in the country.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced 50 new cases in the country and the recovery of 30 cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of infections in the country have now reached 1,405.
In his official Twitter account, Kuwait’s Minister of Health Sheikh Basil Hammoud Al-Sabah said that a total of 206 cases have been cured in the country.
Bahrain’s Ministry of Health recorded 143 new cases of the virus, while 15 cases recovered.
According to Bahraini newspaper, Al-Watan, the total number of cases the country has reached 1,001, and 663 recoveries. There are three cases in the intensive care unit, while 998 cases are stable. The Ministry of Health also announced that is has conducted 726,547 medical examinations for the virus so far.
