Israel’s Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday 34 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total to 15,589.
According to the ministry, the number of deaths has risen from 204 to 208 since Monday evening, while the number of patients in serious conditions has decreased from 126 to 117, out of 354 patients currently hospitalized.
The number of recoveries rose to 7,375, with 175 new recoveries.
The ministry added that the daily average number of coronavirus tests in Israel has dropped to about 9,000 in the past three days, after reaching a daily peak of 13,342 on April 20.
According to the ministry, this is due to a decrease in the number of people asking to undergo tests, as there are fewer people complaining about COVID-19 symptoms.
