The Cairo and Alexandria Opera Houses will celebrate the upcoming Christmas holidays with three concerts and ballet shows on 10, 13, and 14 December, that will run under the supervision of Magdy Saber.
The concerts will celebrate the Christmas holidays, and will present a selection of the most famous musicals and international songs presented for the first time with new distributions prepared by Amir Awad, Osama Ali, and Imad Adel.
The Cairo Opera Troupe, under the supervision of its artistic director Iman Mostafa and directed by Abdullah Saad, will present the three concerts accompanied by ballet shows designed by Armenia Kamel.
The concerts will also be held with the participation of the Cairo Opera Orchestra and the Cairo Opera Choir, accompanied by art shows performed by members of the Cairo Opera Ballet.
The concerts in Cairo will be held at the Cairo Opera’s Grand Theater, while the third concert will be held in the Sayed Darwish Theater at Alexandria Opera.
The Cairo Opera Troupe was officially formed in 1964, and has presented many of the most famous international operas. Its repertoire features more than 32 popular operatic novels.
Its members have also participated in huge shows performed at the world’s largest theatres, and succeeded in forming a fan base of operatic singing enthusiasts.
