Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday brought home 12 Egyptian drivers who were detained in the Northern state in Sudan.
The drivers were arrested after a quarrel erupted between an Egyptian merchant, the owner of the cargo the drivers were transporting, and a Sudanese merchant.
The consulate of Egypt in the Sudanese city of Wadi Halfa had made the necessary contacts with the concerned Sudanese authorities to check on Egyptian drivers and ensure their release.
