The Diyarna Exhibition 2021 for handicrafts took place at the Cairo Festival City mall, in the Fifth Settlement. The 2,800 sqm exhibition saw over 300 exhibitors representing all Egyptian governorates take part to showcase their products.
These products were distinguished by their quality and affordable prices, and included products created by people with disabilities.
The exhibition was held in cooperation with a number of entities and participants, including the Ministries of Trade Industry, Tourism and Antiquities, and Youth and Sports, as well as the Cultural Development Fund, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
The participants presented their various works, including ceramics, carpets, pottery, bamboo items, glass, hand-made furnishings, accessories, silver and copper, traditional clothes, food, and leather goods. The exhibition was extended for two days to end on 27 February, instead of the previously announced 25 February.
