The German-Lebanese Company for Industry – GLC Paints has expressed great pride for its contribution to the success of Egyptian taekwondo player Seif Eissa who has won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
Eissa won the bronze in the -80kg category in taekwondo competitions.
GLC Paints has been providing support and care to Eissa since February 2018 as part of its role in promoting social responsibility.
The company said that its decision to sponsor Seif Eissa was because of its strong belief in Eissa’s promising talent and confidence in his ability to make achievements and raise Egypt’s name high, believing that Eissa could achieve an Olympic medal.
GLC added in a press statement that Eissa succeeded in achieving the dream, and that he still has a lot to accomplish in the future.
The 2020 Summer Olympic Games kicked off officially in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, on Friday, following the event’s 12-month delay due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
