The management of the World Youth Forum (WYF) announced on Friday the arrival of the delegations participating in the fourth edition of the forum in Sharm El-Sheikh.

The forum’s management also announced a set of criteria for selecting influential personalities and promising youths from all over the world, which includes selecting young leaders who have personal, professional, and educational experiences related to the topics discussed in the forum, as well as young people with ambition and a real passion for solving global problems and innovating initiatives for a better tomorrow.

It also explained that a variety of options were presented that allow young people to participate in events as a team member, a participant in the simulation model, or a workshop participant, and many others depending on the topic of the event.

The forum’s management also stressed its keenness to provide an opportunity for young people from different countries of the world to ensure fair representation and include different nationalities and scientific disciplines. Priority was also given to ensure that both sexes are well represented in the event along with young people with special abilities.

The forum received more than 500,000 applications from youths around the globe to attend and participate in the event.

The WYF is an annual global event held in Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The forum aims to bring together youths from around the world to promote dialogue and discuss development issues, and to send a message of peace and prosperity from Egypt to the world.

The United Nations’ Commission for Social Development has adopted the three previous editions of the WYF in Egypt as an international platform for discussing youths’ issues.
