Veteran Egyptian actress Dalal Abdel Aziz starred – for the last time – in a TV series which will be released during the holy month of Ramadan in 2022. Abdel Aziz passed away last August at 61 due to coronavirus complications. She had a massive acting career that spanned over 30 years.
The cast of the upcoming TV series “Alam Mawazy” (A Parallel World) also included Abdel Aziz’s daughter, Donia Samir Ghanem. Abdel Aziz had finished filming most of her scenes before her departure.
“Alam Mawazy” was scheduled to be released last year but it was postponed after a large number of the cast contracted COVID-19, including Abdel Aziz and her daughter.
The 15-episode series also starred Amr Wahba, Shaima Saif, Outaka, Islam Ibrahim, and others. It was written by Amr Wahba and directed by Hisham Gamal.
