Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry met on Tuesday with the first administrative attachés to pass the ministry’s training course and performance assessment, qualifying them to work in diplomatic missions abroad.
Ahmed Hafez — Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — said that the FM praised the success and distinguished professional abilities of the candidates along with their understanding of the requirements of the administrative and consular work in foreign missions.
This qualifies them to carry out their various responsibilities to the fullest and to properly serve Egyptian expats abroad, he said.
Shoukry also directed that efforts should be made to enhance the professional level of these candidates, develop their performance, and proactively interact with modern working methods in various related areas.
This meeting comes in the light of the ministry’s keenness to encourage its various cadres and to develop their capacities in the fields of work at home and abroad.
It is also part of the general trend of the state towards upgrading the structure of administrative work in various state agencies and developing the capabilities of human cadres.
