Hatem Raslan reappointed as president of International Trade and External Relations Committee at EABA

The Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association (EABA) has renewed its confidence in Hatem Raslan as President of the International Trade and External Relations Committee. Raslan will continue in this role for the year 2023/24.

The reappointment is part of EABA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its ties with the African continent and promote trade and investment between Egypt and Africa. Raslan is the Ambassador-at-Large and Liaison Officer of the Republic of The Gambia in Egypt and a highly experienced diplomat with a deep understanding of the African market. He is well-positioned to lead EABA’s efforts to expand its business ties with Africa.

The new formation of the Supreme Body for Egyptian-African Businessmen for the year 2023/24 also includes Abeer Lahita for Transportation, Hussein El-Ghazzawy for Energy, Mahmoud Hegazy and Mohamed El Antably for membership in the Board of Directors of the Association, Maha Mahgoub on the Work and Social Responsibility Committee, Mohamed El Fouly as Chair of the Industry Committee, and Mohamed El-Ghandour as Chair of the Agriculture and Food Security Committee.

The Board of Directors conducts annual evaluation and amendment processes to improve the performance of the entity that serves all members. The entity provides appropriate services and opportunities for all members and achieves equality among them.

The new board and committee heads are committed to promoting EABA’s mission of fostering economic cooperation between Egypt and Africa.

They are confident that they can build on Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association‘s strong foundation and achieve even greater success in the years to come.
