The 7th Egypt International Boat Show, taking place from 6-9 February 2025 at the Cairo International Convention Centre, aims to solidify Egypt’s position as a global yachting hub. The event, a celebration of luxury, innovation, and nautical excellence, will feature over 120 international and local brands and is expected to attract a high-profile guest list including global industry leaders.

The show’s history stretches back to 2007, when it was founded by Ahmed Allam and Amr Selim. After a hiatus due to the 2011 revolution, the show made a successful return in 2024. This year’s edition builds on that success, leveraging significant government and private sector support, a substantial media campaign, and a roster of elite sponsors.

Holding the show in Cairo during winter is a strategic decision to maximise accessibility. The central location and convenient transport links enable broader participation from visitors, industry professionals, and potential buyers. The February timing allows attendees to plan for the summer yachting season, making informed purchasing decisions well in advance.

The exhibition itself promises a wide array of boats and yachts, from speedboats to superyachts, along with cutting-edge marine technology and water sports equipment. Exhibitors will include leading yacht manufacturers, marine service providers, and lifestyle brands, offering potential buyers exclusive deals and financing options.

The Egyptian government’s significant support underscores the event’s importance in promoting Egypt as a global maritime hub. The show enjoys the patronage of several key government bodies, including the Ministries of Transport and Industry, the Tourism Promotion Authority, the Suez Canal Authority, and EgyptAir. This alignment with Egypt’s economic and tourism strategies is further emphasised by the participation of senior government officials and dignitaries at the opening ceremony.

The 7th Egypt International Boat and Yacht Show also benefits from the support of several major private sector partners. Town Writers is the real estate partner, Banque du Caire the official banking partner, and Seven the financing partner, offering bespoke financial solutions for potential buyers.

The show has already attracted significant international interest, with numerous delegates registering to attend. The President Delegate of the Monaco Yacht Club is scheduled to attend on February 8th. The event, running daily from 12 pm to 10 pm, is by invitation only, ensuring a focused audience of industry leaders, investors, and enthusiasts. This year’s edition is anticipated to be a significant event for Egypt’s maritime and luxury tourism sectors.
