CAIRO: Telecom Egypt football director Adel Allam insisted his side will not make any approach for Amir Azmi unless the defender ends his problems with Al-Shabab.
The Egyptian defender claims he is mistreated by the Saudi club, revealing that Al-Shabab president Khaled Al-Baltan threatened to ruin his career.
Azmi is training with Telecom Egypt but Allam remains cautious, saying that this doesn t mean the 24-year-old defender nears a switch to the newly-promoted side.
It is true that Azmi trains with us but making a January move for him is not on the cards yet, Allam told FilGoal.com.
He has to solve all his problems with Al-Shabab first before we could discuss a possible transfer.
Azmi, who still has three seasons to run on his contract with Al-Shabab, has seen moves to Ismaili and Hungary s Debreceni VSC fail in the past few months.
