Magdi, Abdel-Raouf out of action for Zamalek

CAIRO: Zamalek duo Ahmed Magdi and Ahmed Abdel-Raouf have been ruled out of the White Knights upcoming Egyptian Premier League clash against Harras Hodoud.

According to Zamalek medical staff chief Mostafa Al-Monayeri, both players have recovered from their injuries, but they need more time to get back in action.

Magdi and Abdel-Raouf have fully recuperated and started jogging, but they won t be fit for Hodoud game, Al-Monayeri told the Cairo club s official website.

On the other hand, Mahmoud “Shikabala Abdel Razeq and Gamal Hamza are currently undergoing an intensive rehabilitation program to catch the Hodoud game.

Star playmaker Shikabala is suffering a groin problem, while Hamza is yet to shrug off a calf strain.

The pair are expected to be named for Saturday s encounter should they fully recover from their injuries.

Zamalek now lie eighth in the league table with 27 points, while Hodoud are six points ahead in fifth place.
