CAIRO: Egypt goalkeeping coach Ahmed Soliman believes that Essam Al-Hadari puts in far better performances with Egypt than with Ismaili.
The former Ahl shot-stopper was praised for his impressive display in the Pharaohs 1-0 win over Rwanda in the World Cup qualifying stage.
Al-Hadari always excels with Egypt, he produces brilliant displays on the international stage regardless of his club form, Soliman told Egyptian radio after the game.
The 36-year-old conceded six goals in the Egyptian Premier League opening three matches, to raise concerns ahead of the Saturday s match.
However, he maintained a clean sheet against Rwanda to help the African champions seal a narrow victory.
The fans should support Al-Hadari and all his teammates more than ever. The players need to increase their self-confidence because the upcoming qualifiers will be crucial, Soliman added.
