Bahaa-Eldin Law Office in cooperation with BonelliErede strengthened its Egyptian team in Cairo by hiring four additional experienced lawyers: Mostafa Moussa; Mohamed Hossam El Ehwany; Ahmad Farghal and Nayera Sherif.
Ziad Bahaa-Eldin said that following the establishment of the new law firm and the cooperation with BonelliErede, it was important to consolidate the team with professionals with vast local experience and an international background. “The combination of new expertise with the quality of our lawyers in Cairo allows us to serve our clients with a team second to none in the Egyptian market,” he added.
BonelliErede’s President Stefano Simontacchi said that BonelliErede’s international growth is also based on the expansion of professional profiles within the firm. “Following Ziad Bahaa-Eldin joining up with us, we have further strengthened our presence in Egypt with new hirings. I believe that the integration of the team by means of professionals with experience and training in different legal areas is the most suitable model for the continuation and consolidation of our internationalisation process. These new arrivals follow the hiring of our American partner Laurence Shore into the International Arbitration Focus Team and the integration of the Middle Eastern law firm Tribonian Law Advisors,” he added.
The local team is led by Ziad Bahaa-Eldin, an Egyptian lawyer, economist, and writer, former head of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, chairperson of the Egyptian Investment Authority, and deputy prime minister and minister of international cooperation.
BonelliErede and Bahaa-Eldin Law Office’s partnership is coordinated by Milan partner Gianfranco Veneziano, along with Cairo-based Francesca Secondari; Riccardo Bicciato and Lorenzo Melchionda.
