Dubai-based Luiza Formenius released her fourth single with Universal Music MENA celebrating the Christmas season.
With her angelic voice the opera singer enchants her audience and brings the festive ambiance directly to our doors. Choosing a classic Christmas song Luiza puts her own magical touch to it, transforming it to a more modern version without losing the familiarness. Listening to “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” takes people to the cozy festive season enjoying a very special Christmas time with family and friends.
The official music video mirrors the Christmas spirit perfectly. Directed by Koon, the video was shot in Dubai with Formenius’ family and friends as she wanted to keep it simple and authentic.
“I strive to reach my audience on a deep emotional level through my unique fusion of classical music with a modern twist,” said Formenius.
She always had a strong passion for music which continued further as she studied with renowned vocal and performance coaches, including tenor Diego D’Auria in Lugano and various reputable coaches in the Manhattan School of Music in New York.
The artist is mostly influenced by a wide range of genres including Celine Dion, Pavarotti, Elvis Presley, Freddie Mercury, Maria Callas, and of course, Andrea Bocelli. This eclectic mix stemmed from her parents’ avid interest in opera and classical music as well as her early fascination with Elvis and Queen.
She is a unique artist with immense talent and a noticeable ability to innovate and merge her own vision with a hint of modern sounds.
