CAIRO: The Cairo Criminal Court will announce its verdict in the murder trial of Lebanese singer Suzanne Tamim on May 21.
The trial attracted public and media attention because it involves ex-chairperson of Talaat Moustafa Group, Hisham Talaat Moustafa and ex-state security officer Mohsen El-Sukkari.
El-Sukkari was charged with committing the crime upon orders from Moustafa.
Last Wednesday the court listened to the final statements of both the defense team and the prosecution.
The two defendants were arrested in September 2008 following investigations by Dubai security officials implicating them in the crime which took place in Dubai.
