ALEXANDRIA: Hosts Ittihad suffered a 2-1 defeat to newly-promoted side Aluminum on Wednesday in the opener of a pre-season friendly tournament.
Ibrahim Abdul-Rahim put Aluminum in the lead in the 37th minute before Mostafa Abbas doubled the lead one minute before the interval.
Ittihad newly-signed player Mahmoud Shaker scored the club’s only goal at the stroke of half-time but the Alexandria-based club couldn t finish the game with a draw.
