CAIRO: Al Ahly have confirmed the absence of striker Flavio Amado from next Friday s league game with Petrojet.
The league leaders said on Sunday that the Angolan “might be included in the game after suffering an ankle injury in last weekend s 1-1 draw with Telecom Egypt.
However, Ahly’s official web site stated that Flavio is still struggling with pain to his ankle, and will be ruled out of the game.
Meanwhile, midfielder Mohamed Barakat is set to resume full training on Tuesday, following a knock he received in the Telecom match.
In the same manner, the Reds said that Shadi Mohamed is on his way to full recovery from an ankle injury that kept him out throughout the past week
