CAIRO: Wigan manager Steve Bruce said he still waits more from Amr Zaki after the Egyptian striker scored on his debut.
Zaki netted a last-gasp goal to give Wigan a 3-2 victory over Sheffield Wednesday in a friendly on Saturday.
It was a good workout and in the last couple of games we ve not had any problems scoring goals, Bruce was quoted as saying by Wigan Evening Post.
It was nice to see Zaki come on and score. That will have done him good and hopefully there is more to come from him.
Zaki moved to Wigan on loan from Zamalek for one season. The Premiership side can sign him on a permanent basis next summer for 4.5 million English pounds.
