CAIRO: Zamalek assistant coach Ahmed Ramzi confirmed that the club haven’t suspended players Mohamed Abdullah and Mostafa Gaafar.

Interim coach Ahmed Refaat earlier said that the pair will be suspended after they missed the team s training prior to the Cup defeat to Bani Obeid without permission.

No disciplinary measures will be taken against Gaafar and Abdullah, Ramzi told FilGoal.com.

Gaafar attended the training before Bani Obeid s clash, while Abdullah called the technical staff and informed them he won t be able to make the session.

In another issue, Ramzi added that Zamalek won t stand in Mohamed Abdel-Monsef s way if the keeper wants to leave the club.

Following the Egyptian Cup exit, media reports suggested that Abdel-Monsef wants to leave Zamalek in order to join Ismaili in January.
