CAIRO: Ahly s fringe striker Osama Hosni has been named for the Red Devils trip to Zimbabwean side Gunners in the CAF Champions League.
It was previously reported that Hosni wouldn t be included in the squad for going on Umrah (lesser pilgrimage).
However, Ahly s official website confirmed that the 27-year-old will be available for the Ahly s Champions League opener.
Hosni hasn t made the Cairo team s squad for several weeks, after falling out with coach Hossam Al-Badri over his lack of first-team football.
Al-Badri usually depends on a strike partnership consisting of Emad Meteb and Mohamed Fadl.
Left winger Gilberto, striker Hani Al-Egeizi and holding midfielder Ahmed Hassan have been all ruled out of Saturday s game though injury.
