CAIRO: Anderlecht midfielder Ahmed Hassan scored twice but Sint-Truidense managed to snatch a dramatic 4-3 home victory in the Belgian League on Sunday.

Midfielder Rocky Peeters put the hosts in front in the 25th minute before Egypt skipper Hassan leveled the score four minutes later.

Jelle Van Damme added the second for the title holders in the 32nd minute but Sint-Truidense striker Peter Van Houdt equalized six minutes later.

Hassan restored his side s lead just before the break from the penalty spot, taking his tally to five goals in the league this season.

Sint-Truidense scored twice in the last five minutes to stun Anderlecht, whose league hopes are left up in the air.

Asanda Sishuba looked to have secured a share of spoils when he notched home five minutes from time.

But Ivorian striker Adamo Coulibaly gave Sint-Truidense an even more valuable award when he scored in stoppage time.

Anderlecht slipped to sixth place in the league table on 24 points, 10 adrift of leaders Club Brugge.
