CAIRO: Harras Hodoud coach Tarek Al-Ashri says he has reached an agreement with Essam Al-Hadari over a deal that will see the Egypt goalie join the military side from Zamalek in the winter transfer window.

"I met Al-Hadari and he agreed to move to Hodoud in January," Al-Ashri told FilGoal.com.

"We discussed all the details. We should contact Zamalek within the next couple of days to wrap up the deal."

Al-Ashri, however, refused to reveal the transfer fee that will be paid should the deal go through.

The length of the purposed contract hasn’t been disclosed too.

Al-Hadari once said he sought to leave Zamalek, the club he joined from Ismaili in the close season, when the transfer window re-opens in January.

He was reportedly angry at coach Hossam Hassan’s decision to field Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed instead of him during the 3-1 Egyptian Premier League victory over promoted Smouha.

Hassan played both keepers during Zamalek’s past league games, opting not to rely on a definite first-choice goalie.

Late last month, the Whites assured that Al-Hadari had backtracked on his decision to leave.

More reports, however, tipped him for an imminent move.
