CAIRO: The Confederation of African Football says its disciplinary board will meet in Johannesburg on April 19 to investigate the fan riot in an African Champions League game in Cairo.

Home supporters of Egypt’s Zamalek rushed onto the field in the April 2 game against Tunisia’s Club Africain.

African football’s ruling body said Wednesday in a statement that it will also look into the second leg of the last-32 match between Algeria’s MC Alger and Zimbabwean club Dynamos.

Dynamos lost 3-0 in Algeria to surrender a 4-1 first-leg lead, with Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa reportedly blaming biased refereeing.
